Traumatic and Non-traumatic disorders in children, birth deformities in newborns are managed with additional support from the Pediatric team.
Bow legs, knock knees and club feet are managed with expertise. Complex problems are also managed like limb deficiencies; Developmental Dislocations of Hip, Perthes disease, SCFE; limb lengthening procedures; Spine deformities; neuromuscular diseases like Cerebral palsy. They are seen by a team of orthopaedic surgeons, orthotist, physiotherapists and plaster nurses with care. Our team works hand-in-hand with the Paediatrics team to accurately diagnose the child’s condition and develop the most appropriate treatment plan.
