It is equipped with cryostat for frozen section which is required for quick intraoperative diagnosis. Moreover, typing of various tumors for diagnostic and prognostic purpose is done with the help of Immunohistochemistry. The Molecular lab routinely performs RT-PCR tests for various infectious diseases, including Covid-19.

Most of the test results are available on the same day except for few special tests.
