With a well-organized and spacious Phlebotomy area and separate processing sections for Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Hematology, Histopathology Cytopathology, Clinical Microbiology and Molecular lab, the Central Laboratory is fully equipped for all kinds of tests.

Diagnostics and Clinical services

The Central Laboratory caters to the diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic needs of the patients and is equipped with the most sophisticated equipment. The specimens are processed by a team of qualified technical staff and reported by authorized Consultants. Some of the most effective internal and external quality assurance systems are in place. The analysers are interfaced with the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and integrated with the Hospital Information System (HIS) that enables the results to be conveniently viewed in the different wards and other patient care areas immediately after they are released by the laboratory personnel.

Advance Technology

The Central Laboratory uses some of the most innovative technologies to offer premium health care to it patients.

It is equipped with cryostat for frozen section which is required for quick intraoperative diagnosis. Moreover, typing of various tumors for diagnostic and prognostic purpose is done with the help of Immunohistochemistry. The Molecular lab routinely performs RT-PCR tests for various infectious diseases, including Covid-19.
